The 1521 pad is a high performance pad for aggressive street use. It has higher coefficient of friction levels than stock pads for much better stopping power on the street.

The 1521 is for street use only. More aggressive pads are the AX6 (autocross) and the XP line (dedicated track use).

NOTE: 1521 is NOT a race compound, and should not be used as such. 1521 shouldn't be used by any intermediate or advanced track day drivers, and should not be used with R-compound tires (racing tires). Cars in excess of 300 Hp or 3,000 lbs should not use 1521 for any autocross or track use.
