This lowering collar is for front lift C8 Corvettes and will allow you to lower your car like other Z51 cars that do not have the front lift option. Some shops may have this socket already but most people do not as it's a specialty tool. You can still do it without this tool, but be prepared to be frustrated for about 15-20 mins while you fiddle with other small flat heads to try and de-pin the connector.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eShims\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eWe have added the option for a 3\/8\" riser shim. This will allow people who do not want a full .75\" drop to achieve a 3\/8\" drop.
